Random thoughts and perspectives on life and work.

1. Limits are self imposed

I went from a broke ass teenager working as a line cook at a restaurant, to building B2b Saas at a silicon valley startup, which scaled to a $12 Billion dollar valuation and ended up doing $700M in ARR in 2024-25. Everyone around me told me I could never make the jump. If I believed in them, I would've stayed broke. Be delusional, the world will adapt.

2. Say things as they are

I hate people who twist words. I try to be as transparent as I can and expect everyone around me to be the same way. The only way to build trust is through transparency and authenticity.

3. Shoot for the stars

If you're early in your career, you should be aiming as fucking high as you can. "Nowhere to go but up, and nothing to lose but time."

4. Be optimistic

Life is hard, and being pessimistic doesn't make it any easier. Being optimistic gets you excited and makes you a high energy person in general. Being high energy is cool. Being pessimistic is boring.

5. Move fast

The world is a big feedback loop. The faster you can accelerate, the more information you'll get out of it.
