Just saw a Brian Chesky interview, and one question went like - "what advice has Barack given you about dating"

The advice is great and absolutely spot on and all of that, but I'm not here to talk about the advice, because that's not the point. The point is Barack Obama giving Brian Chesky advice. That point is he had access to Obama, the fucking president of the United States, way before Airbnb become one of the biggest companies of the world. The point is that he could literally just ask him anything. He did this by being shameless and just going for it. So that's the point.

Reach out to people you admire. No one is off limits. There is no "out-of-my-league" concept for the ambitious. Starting a startup? Reach out to people already doing it. Building a restuarant? Reach out to people already doing it. Making new music? Reach out to people already doing it. Life is unfair and rewards only those who go the extra mile. You need to push with all your might, work as hard as you can, put in the grind. Only then will something come to you.

Be shameless and ask for what you want.
